Meet Our Racers

AJ Hayes

AJ Hayes #387

VET B/C

HUSQVARNA FC350

AJ Hayes has made a career out of his passion. He combined his talent in art with his passion for power sports and designs most of the Tee-Shirts and gear combos at the races. AJ is dedicated to the sport and loves every second of racing (unless its muddy.) Cheer on rider #387 this year as he rides around the track for a shot at the title.

Troy Miller

Troy Miller #271

AHRMA

1987 Yamaha YZ250

Troy Miller is a seasoned racer with over 20 years of experience under his belt. He is not your typical 60 year old though as he can be found still tearing it up at the skate park. This year Troy will be racing AHRMA (American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association) on board his 1987 Yamaha YZ 250. He set impressive goals this year, hoping to win a AHRMA Next Gen National Championship.

Brent

Brent Swanson #56

AWRCS–XC SENIOR B

AWRCS UTV LITE

HUSQVARNA TX 300 /TEXTRON SPORT LIMITED

Brent Swanson should be the man of the hour for taking on the challenge of racing both a UTV, and a bike. Brent is the driver behind the second Schulz Buggy on the track and for his first time ever racing UTV’s he is killing it! Brent was a little nervous going into his first UTV race in 2018 as he strapped on his NASCAR Helmet, but after his 2 nd place victory he felt much better. Brent is ready to hammer the track now with his Textron Sport on Saturday, then again on his Husqvarna on Sunday. Check out racer #56 as he whips around the track.

Hunter Shriner #20

PAMX – 250B

HUSQVARNA FC 250

Hunter does not play games. He is straight to the point – he wants to win and will work hard to get there. Hunter is always trying to perfect his riding style and asks questions the second something does not feel right. Hunter proves that he is dedicated, driven, and detail oriented. When it comes to his riding career – he makes sure he is ready so when the gate drops he can focus on winning. Hunter came out of the gate strong this year on a new bike. We love watching Hunter climb his way to the top, and we are sure his dedication will get him there. When asked what his goal for this year was, he replied to win a state championship.

Doug Palmer #79

NECXC-SENIOR 45+

KTM 250 SX-F

Doug is one of our oldest riders, but man is he young at heart. Doug is the guy under the tent cracking jokes, helping young riders learn old tricks, and polishing the chrome on his bike before he gets it all muddy. Doug is a diehard fan of dirt bikes and the entire powersports industry. When Doug isn’t racing, its safe to say you can find him in the parts department at Schulz checking out new parts for his bike. Look out for #79 this year, he will absolutely show you the fun in the sport.

KTM 300XC

Colin Reutzel is new to the team this 2019 season, but not to racing! Colin has 7 years of racing under his belt! Colin is racing XC-Pro at AWRCS this year, lining up on row number one, racing against the fastest and most competitive AWRCS has to offer. Though a very difficult class, Colin has proved himself to be competitive against the other pros. Colin has been racing for 7 years and has some pretty high goals for this year including a top 5 finish in Pro class. For many people this would only be a fantasy but with Colin's speed, strength, skill and determination we know he can get the job done.

Dalton Sheraskey #880

NECXC - SCHOOLBOY 14-17

HUSQVARNA FC250

Dalton Sheraskey is the type of person that doesn't say much. Off the track, he has a quiet personality. But on the track, he's totally different. When that flag drops, he charges hard, showing his determination and grit that will separate him from the competition. Watch out for #880, Dalton Sheraskey just won't quit and will do great things on board his Husqvarna FC 250 this 2019 season.

Anthony Setaro's proved himself to be a top competitor in 2018 taking 2nd in NECXC. Not all his success comes easy though where he managed to finish two separate races on just his rim. Unfortunately coming into the 2019 race season he had many complications from an injury with his knee, suffering a torn meniscus forcing him to miss the first couple races. Only a few races back in 2019 and Anthony Setaro has proved himself ready to rip and is hungry for top positions.

It did not take Jimmy very long before he got the fever for racing. Last year he chose to jump in head first and run the entire national enduro series. He won a National Enduro Championship last year and is ready to take on AWRCS again for 2019. Jimmy is a top competitor this year but has unfortunately broken his foot at round 1. In 2018 Chris started racing and joined the Schulz Cycle Race Team and continued racing AWRCS into 2019. If Chris isn't riding his dirtbike he is probably talking about racing or riding or when he's going riding next. Chris has a passion for the sport and enjoys competing against others but also bringing it back to his roots and tearing up the single-track with his dad. If he's not working out or mountain biking to prepare for the long 2-3 hour race, he's likely working on his bike or throwing together a last minute weekend ride. When asked what his goal for 2019 was, he replied "to outwork my competition and prove I have what it takes to dominate competition and finish with some top spots".

Weather its 2017's NECXC youth bike championship "Bucket" claimed or his appearance in 2018 where he took home 3rd in AWRCS youth bike in points, "Bucket" is one impressive athlete that will surely be successful with his transition into NECXC's adult bike in OPEN B.

Darryl juggles three businesses, family life, and his passion for power sports everyday of the week. When Darryl is not working, its safe to say he is either in his buggy, or on his bike. While Darryl has always been a bike guy he made his debut in UTV racing last year and took home 1st place overall in the 700cc class. Like any great power sport enthusiast would, he stepped it up this year. Darryl made his appearance this year with his 700cc Arctic Cat Sport, however he chose to race in the 801cc-1000cc class. If that was not enough, after his UTV race is done, Darryl cools off then gets ready to hit the track again on his TE 300. Darryl shows the team that with enough hard work, anything is possible.
